Welcome to the department of commerce. As the Head of Department, I am proud to lead a vibrant and academically dynamic team committed to excellence in commerce education at Ba Methodist High school. The department is blessed with four zestful and committed teachers. It is a privilege to have the Principal and the Vice Principal in the department who are working tirelessly in accomplishing the goals of the department and in achieving academic excellence.

Our department offers subjects such as Commercial Studies, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies that blend theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students to meet the challenges of today’s global business environment. With a focus on academic rigor and holistic development, we encourage our students to participate in debates, quizzes, workshops, careers expo and industry visits to create greater learning opportunities.

Financial literacy skills are an integral aspect of a person’s learning hence the Commerce team is challenged with the prime task of instilling financial literacy skills in students as this is a fundamental component of growth in future. The department ensures to holistically educate and empower commerce students with relevant, flexible and accessible commercial system that promotes to develop and recognize the importance of commercial studies in everyday life.
