The Language Department at Ba Methodist High School is dedicated to developing students’ communication skills, critical thinking and cultural awareness through the study of English, Vernacular Languages and Literature. Our curriculum integrates language proficiency with an appreciation of literature and cultural heritage, preparing students to actively engage in academic, social and professional environment.

4. SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES

1. International Mother Language Day

To mark the occasion, department members organized activities in order to promote the preservation and protection of all mother tongue languages in Fiji.

2. Library Week  Program

A week-long series of activities was organized to raise awareness about the importance of library in school.
